Tue, Apr 15, 2025, 7:00pm, Water and sewer project community update
Together with our neighboring block association on Park Place between Carlton and Vanderbilt, we have organized a monthly status update meeting with the project's resident engineer and members of the NYC Dept of Design and Construction team. Sat, Apr 26, 2025 10:00am - Noon, PPUABA spring clean-up
Let's celebrate Earth Day and lift our spirits by working on a community project together! We'll cut down unwanted growth in the tree beds, clean up litter, and sweep our sidewalks. Please clean in front of your own building and perhaps another building or two on your block. Also, PHNDC will be holding an electronics recycling event on Underhill Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and Pacific Street, starting at 10:00am.
Sat, May 10, 2025 Noon - 5:00pm**, PPUABA Block Party
Please SAVE THE DATE for our 2025 Block Party, which will be held on Underhill Avenue between Prospect Place and Park Place. Watch for more information as the date gets closer. **To be followed by a pot-luck dinner from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
Sat, May 17, 2025, 10:00am - Noon, PPUABA Plant Share, in front of 302 Park Place
Bring your excess seedlings, cuttings and plants from your garden to share with a neighbor, and/or browse and take plants contributed by others (it's not necessary to bring a plant to take one). Consult with Growing Our Community coordinator Den Gordon about which plants might do best in your specific growing conditions, and take plants that meet your needs. These Plant Share events are a great way to spread the joy of gardening and enable neighbors to connect!
