
PPUABA Grants

The Park Place – Underhill Avenue Block Association has traditionally made annual grants to organizations and projects in the local community which serve the population of Prospect Heights. Such grants are made if PPUABA has funds available above and beyond what is needed for its annual budget.
RECENT UPDATES

At our January 21, 2026 meeting, our Treasurer recommended and attendees approved a 2026 grant budget of $2,500. The window for submission of 2026 grant applications closed as of the commencement of the February monthly meeting on Feb 18, 2026. A 2026 Grants Committee comprised of Sharon Combs, Joe Ostwald, and Peter Cobos was appointed at the February meeting and will evaluate the submitted Requests For Grant. At the March 18, 2026 meeting the Grants Committee will make recommendations to the membership as to which grant applications should be approved and for which amounts.

PPUABA Grants Procedure
The PPUABA Grants Procedure details the process and timeline used by the Association for

PPUABA Grant Application
A member who wishes to request a grant to be made for an organization or community project must complete and submit a Request For Grant form. Please download the form, complete the required information, save the form, and email it to ppuaba.pres@gmail.com no later than the commencement of the February PPUABA meeting. Alternatively, the form can be printed, completed by hand, and delivered to the block association president.
