Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd, 2026!

While the upcoming "midterm" federal elections have constantly been in the news, this Election Day, we will be voting not only for our congressional representative, but for a large number of state and city elected offices, as well as for 5 ballot proposals.

Which offices and proposals will be on the ballot?
Our 4 PPUABA blocks span 2 different Congressional districts and 2 different NYS Assembly districts, so depending on which block and which side of the street you live, you will see different races on your ballot. See below, or to view a sample ballot pertinent to your address, enter your address here.

Ballot Proposals
In addition to elected offices, there are 5 ballot proposals to be voted upon which would each amend the New York City Charter. In broad summary, the stated aim of 4 of these proposals is to speed projects and reduce administrative paperwork. In some cases this would be accomplished by reducing or eliminating the role of local Community Boards and/or City Council representatives to review and approve projects impacting the local community, having the effect on concentrating power in the mayor's office and/or city agencies and reducing community input. The fifth proposal aims to establish a process for determining contributions to the city's "rainy day fund". You can find the text of each proposal, along with an explanation of what a "yes" vote or "no" vote means, at https://www.nycvotes.org/whats-on-the-ballot/2026-ballot-proposals.

It is strongly suggested that you read the text of each proposal as well as the explanations before deciding how to vote on each proposal.
